I am pretty crafty, not in the sneaky way, in the I like getting my hands dirty and making stuff.
I am determined this year to get more creative and spend more time nurturing my creative side, not just at work and through writing, but doing crafty things as well.
Here is a little step by step on how I created this gorgeous floral C.
Step Seven: Filling in Gaps
I left a few gaps between the flowers to allow for extra greenery to be added, I felt like the green aspect added a bit of "real life" to the letter. Once you're happy with the density of the flowers and greenery let dry for an hour or two.

I am determined this year to get more creative and spend more time nurturing my creative side, not just at work and through writing, but doing crafty things as well.
Here is a little step by step on how I created this gorgeous floral C.
Step one: The Essentials
You'll need
- Glue Gun
- Paint colour of choice (white base coat optional)
- Letter
- Flowers of choice
Step Two: Trimming The Flowers
For this step i separated out the "greenery" from the flowers, which makes placing them a whole lot easier later.
Step Three: Base Coat
This step is optional, if you're going for a bright or a metallic shade I would recommend a base coat of white to make your chosen colour pop a little more.
Step Four: Painting Your Chosen Colour
I've gone for a millennial rose gold and letting the white show through for a more "worn" look. once painted let dry. Painting the back of the letter is totally optional.
Top Tip whilst the paint is drying is a perfect tip to organise the flowers, trim to size and make a tea.
Step Five: Get Out the Glue Gun
If you're gluing the flower or leaf to the side of the letter, then apply a small layer of glue along the stem and stick to the sidewall of the letter. for a flower that is going in the middle, then apply a blob of glue at the bottom of the stem and apply to the base of the letter.
Step Six: Taking Shape
I started at each end of the C and worked my way to the middle, this allows to keep a sort of pattern and to keep the Greenery / Floral ration even.
I left a few gaps between the flowers to allow for extra greenery to be added, I felt like the green aspect added a bit of "real life" to the letter. Once you're happy with the density of the flowers and greenery let dry for an hour or two.
